Adventurers Wanted, Book 4: Sands of Nezza Description
“An epic fantasy series.” - Library Journal
After hundreds of years without a true king, the desert land of Nezza is in danger of falling under the rule of a ruthless lord advised by an evil wizard with dark intentions.
A desperate cry for help brings Alexander Taylor to this perilous land and sets events in motion that will require him to rescue an old friend from and impenetrable dungeon. Once in Nezza, Alex meets a new band of adventurers and joins them in their quest to find young Prince Rallian – the man destined to become the rightful king of Nezza.
In their path lies a deadly sand monster, a wise and insightful oracle, a massive army of illusions, and a host of lords and leaders ready to fight for – and against – the king of their land.
But a dark shadow threatens Alex’s every step. And in Nezza, a land where magic is feared and wizards are held in suspicion, Alex will have to be more wise and cunning than ever before if he and his friends are to succeed – or even survive.

I just received the book which I had pre-ordered from Amazon. I could not put the book down from the moment I started reading the first page. As a warning to people expecting the same adventure format of the last three previous books, this book is slightly different. I think the author is trying to mature Alex and making him a stronger/ more forceful character than the more fearful character he was in the previous books. Alex acts as a leader in this book even though he is not strictly speaking on an adventure in this story. The action is virtually nonstop in this book. The bad guys are much stronger and smarter in this book and the challenges are at a much higher level for Alex now. My only regret with this book is I miss all the opportunities for treasure that were in his adventures in the earlier novels. My favorite part is where we finally find out what is the mysterious ring for from the first book. That has been driving me crazy with curiosity since the first book. In conclusion Alex is a more mature/ confident character than in the previous novels and the storyline is more mature to reflect this change. Be ready for a very exciting ride.

This book is not out of print, it's not been printed yet. Author has a blog where he has reviewed problems in editing and delays. Great book series, anxious for it to actually be printed! Here is the blog...
