It's short but structured with great exercises whether or not your student needs a little practice or a lot of work to prepare for the New York State mandated Regents exams. While it's certainly not flashy or big, anyone born in the past 30 years in New York likely remembers these fat little red books.
There may be some better choices if someone really needs a lot of help with Algebra or the Regents exam. This is, however, the best preparation tool and is probably what most teachers will require for class.

I purchase these bks for my teenagers to help prepare for their regents. There are several exams in the bk and this allows for additional practice. I would recommend these bks.
