Masked Innocence Description
From Booklist
Julia Campbell, a college intern in a law office, becomes sexually involved with Brad, one of the senior partners, while working for another. Evidently nonorgasmic before she met Brad, Julia is enjoying her sexual awakening with him in threesomes, sex parties, and anything and everything (except S and M)—until her boss is murdered, and she finds out that she’s on a hit list for having overheard a conversation involving his representation of Mob families. Brad, the son of one of those mobsters, though not involved in the family “business,” has to figure out how to protect her. Torre gives readers erotica with a plot, despite the bromide of the alpha male introducing the naïve young woman to sex and a variant of the marriage of convenience. Julia is a classic “spunky Suzy,” and unlike Fifty Shades of Grey, the story is plausible. --Mary K. Chelton

I have to say that i really enjoyed Blindfolded Innocence, but this, Masked Innocence....I LOVED it! For my fellow erotica lovers that aren't familiar with Alessandra Torre's work, you need to rectify that immediately. She had me hooked in book one and I have been anxiously awaiting Masked Innocence for a while now.
Masked Innocence picks up right where Blindfolded Innocence (book 1) left off. Julia Campbell and Brad DeLuca take their relationship to the next level when Julia opens up to the idea of including others in their sexual relationship that Brad has proposed to her. Never did she imagine things going this way but in order to have Brad, this is a compromise she has to make. Luckily enough, she finds herself enjoying everything about his proposal.
Julia becomes increasingly aware of her sexual desires and is basically consumed by everything Brad. She fears she is falling too hard too fast while Brad is confused by his growing feelings for Julia. "I fell for the feisty, smart-ass Julia that calls me on my s***. But i'm owned by the vixen that you become behind closed doors."
While Blindfolded Innocence was loaded with sexual tension, Masked Innocence is slightly different. It is still full of steamy, change-your-panties sex scenes, but it is also very suspenseful. I love that Alessandra used the element of suspense because it really kept the reader engaged. We learn a lot about Brad in this book and his secrets will surprise you! When his big secret is exposed, i couldn't turn the pages fast enough to see how this would play out and what effect it would have on Julia and Brad's relationship.
The dialogue between Brad and Julia is some of my favorite to date. Brad comes across as serious and mysterious yet with Julia he is fun and light-hearted.
Masked Innocence. Alessandra Torre
Review from Jeannie Zelos Book reviews.
I love well written erotica, that which has a good supporting story. I'd read The Diary of Brad De Luca before part one, Blindfolded Innocence, and at the time as I'd got an ARC I’d not seen the current warnings to read this first. I really didn't understand it but loved Alessandra's writing style, so requested this and bought Blindfolded Innocence, its only 59p for 304 hot, sensual, well written and exciting pages and it makes Brad's diary so much more understandable. So much so that I've edited my original review to reflect that.
Anyway, after finishing book one I got straight on to this – that the way I really enjoy these sorts of novels, when I can read them back to back. Sadly part three isn't out yet – March 25th. After the ending of Blindfolded I thought I knew which way the story would go, I was right – and then again I was wrong... It started as I’d thought, then veered off in a direction that totally confused me. I really didn't see that coming, and that was perfect. I love books to take an unexpected journey, it makes wondering what's next a real pleasure. Brad really shone here. I'd thought his serial womanising/swinging needs would cause problems – Julia seemed like she was going top be OK with it, but I’m not sure that the reality would be as she expected. Then that detour started, and it became a trip into danger, with Julia's life at stake! Along the way though there's plenty of Brad's typical hot, erotic sex don't worry ;) Some of his secrets from his past come out – that man seems to have many, and I doubt this'll be the last, though I’m sure the largest one....
