My first Google Chromebook is the third-generation 11.6-inch Samsung model with the Exynos 5250 ARM processor, which I purchased on May 30, 2013. However, I needed to learn about the Google Chrome operating system in order to be able to use my new Chromebook. Therefore, I consulted my friends at Amazon, and they provided me with three Excellent tutorial books on the Google Chromebook and the Google Chrome operating system. I am reviewing the first of these tutorial books, which was written by Mr. Michael Miller, and is entitled "My Google Chromebook, Second Edition."
Michael Miller is a supremely talented technology author, and he has written a Superb book, which serves to introduce his readers to the Google Chromebook, the Google Chrome operating system, and the general concept of cloud computing. His book is extremely well-organized, well-illustrated, and well-written. It gives the reader a comprehensive overview of the subject matter, while still being succinct and focused. His writing style is straightforward and easy to understand, and the chapters flow in logical succession.
I believe that the majority of the computing public would be able to accomplish their work using the Google Chrome operating system and the web-based Google productivity applications. Most computer users do not need a complicated operating system for E-mail, web browsing, social networking, and writing letters, papers, and other documents. As the Google web applications gain more sophistication and functionality, I believe that a larger proportion of the computing public will be able to work within the Google ecosystem.
