This is the Best Selling Summary of David Allen's popular book "Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity ". We've taken all the great concepts, strategies & tips and summarized them into an easy to read, but complete summary.
Time management, in and of itself, is of little value unless it's combined with an effective, dependable and easy to use organizational system. Information overload and the need to process large volumes of data and work projects will choke your productivity unless you have an efficient work flow system in place that you trust completely and will ACTUALLY USE.
The strategies and tips in this book will give you the tools you need to develop and utilize precisely that type of empowering system.

I've been struggling through the full book for a few weeks now, and I listened to the CDs as well, but this summary really helped me get the big picture...and it took me just part of an evening to read the whole thing.
I now have a much better grasp of the entire system and can go through the highlights and notes I added to my Kindle edition and start implementing this great system into my life. I may go back and refer to the full book too so I can gain more depth as needed.
I'm so thrilled that I am writing this right after finishing the book. See...it's already working...I'm Getting Things Done immediately that can be done in two minutes.

What a great and useful book! And short enough to actually read it, think about what it's saying, and use the techniques that are CLEARLY laid out for those of us that are just too busy to think. For me, having two offices and homes in two different states is enough to make me crazy - so I have to have extra careful organization and discipline to get the things I need to do done, and the things I want to do too. I loved this handy little book - which lends itself to a quick read, some real thought, and a re-read when feeling short on time/energy/life to get it all done. Highly recommended!
